Recent Victories for Clients of John Fielding, Jr. and Marc Levinson

  • Client charged in federal court with transporting 157 kilograms of cocaine (345.40 pounds).  We negotiated a plea agreement that called for time served plus 26 months at the federal facility of our choice.

  • Client charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon in state court.  The District Attorney's Office ("D.A.") alleged a gang enhancement on each count (Cal.Penal Code Section 186.22).  Jury hung (i.e. mistrial) on the attempted murder and gang enhancements.  The D.A. later dismissed those counts and allegations.

  • Client charged in connection with his alleged leadership of an on-line pharmaceutical enterprise.  The charges included conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to distribute unapproved and misbranded drugs.  Over twenty-six million dollars ($26,000,000) was seized by the government from all defendants.  Client sentenced to time served. (2 days).

  • Client contacted office to cancel his duty to register as a sex offender.  After two court appearances in South Bay's Superior Court, our office succeeded in terminating his duty to register as a sex offender.

  • Client with ten prior strikes arrested for commercial burglary and larceny (two separate incidents).  We negotiated a plea for no custody time.
